What is Divine Embodyment?
Divine Embodiment is the belief that the Divine, God, or Goddess, or Source Energy is present in the physical world. This belief is found in many different religious traditions, including some of the most common religions such as Hinduism, Buddhism, and Christianity.
In Hinduism, the divine is often seen as being present in all things, both animate and inanimate. This belief is expressed in the Hindu concept of Brahman, which is the all-pervading spirit that is the source of all creation.
In Buddhism, the divine is often seen as being present in the form of Buddhas and bodhisattvas. Buddhas are enlightened beings who have achieved liberation from suffering, and bodhisattvas are beings who have vowed to help others achieve liberation as well.
In Christianity, the divine is believed to be present in the form of Jesus Christ. Christians believe that Jesus is the Son of God, and that he came to Earth to save humanity from sin.
The belief in Divine Embodiment can have a profound impact on people's lives. It can lead to a sense of awe and wonder at the beauty of the natural world, and it can also inspire people to live in a way that is more compassionate and loving.
Here are some of the ways that people experience Divine Embodiment:
Through nature: People may feel the presence of the divine when they are in nature, such as when they are hiking in the mountains or swimming in the ocean.
Through art: People may feel the presence of the divine when they are looking at art, such as paintings, sculptures, or even just listening to music.
Through other people: People may feel the presence of the divine when they are in the presence of other people, such as when they are praying, meditating, or doing yoga together.
Through their own experiences: People may feel the presence of the divine in their own lives, such as when they experience a moment of great joy or sorrow.
According to an average of all 2021 Gallup polling, about three in four Americans said they identify with a specific religious faith. Though I don’t Subscribe to or Practice any of these Religions on their own (and you don’t have to be religious to work with me), Religion is prevalent in our American Culture. Maybe, like me, you were raised with some rules or faith-based control. I didn’t really agree to or even know what I was really signing up for. I was raised in a Very Christian, Very Conservative, Very controlling house hold. Now that I am an Adult I have found that I love beauty! I love nature! I love meditations! I love Sex and I love being kind to people. To me this is how I Honor my Divine Being. I created the name Divine Embodyment with the intentional misspelling to highlight the body in the embodiment aspect. The word Somatic means “of the body” and we as a society have really left our bodies out of the equation a lot of the time. We tend to look at our bodies as meat sacks. As this thing that gets us from point A to point B. This thing that needs sleep and that needs food. But truly our bodies are intelligent, incredible and amazing! The human body has a way of communicating to our minds to our core self. Yet so many of us were not taught how to understand this language or interrupt it. This is the journey I have gone on to understand the Somatic Erotic messages and to help others learn this language as well.
The belief in divine embodiment is a personal one, and there is no right or wrong way to experience it. If you believe that there is some sort of energy in all of us connecting us on this Earth. Then you are already experiencing Divine Embodyment. If you want to continue to hone this skill, or if you want help experiencing Divine Embodyment, I’d love to work with you.
