Desire is Power

You feel powerless because you are not in touch with your true desires

Desire is the true north for you and your soul's highest calling. When desire calls us  as children we often answer and do the things easily that feel good to us but then we are taught that we can't always have what we want or that other people's desires are more important than ours or even that our desires are bad/sinful. For example a child hits their sister because they desire to stop their sibling from taking their possessions. So at the core of this the young child is saying I desire to have autonomy about my things and she is threatening this so I will use my god given ability to push away energy to exert force so she does not touch my possessions. His Desire isnt to hit her its to protect his belongings and the way he is identifying with his world and making sense of himself the act of hitting is just instinct/animal body kicking in. Now as an adult we haven't actually learned or trained to accept or understand our desires so we are still just letting instinct/animal body control our actions which don't always feel good afterwards even if we technically got what we wanted. As a somatic embodiment coach I help people navigate their internal world so that they can feel powerful again and claim their true desires and figure out ethical and valuable ways to reach their desires with ease and consistency so that we are not being controlled by our past, our instinctual actions or even emotions. We learn together how they are hard wired and previously programmed to feel or even hear or not hear their own internal compass.
